Engineered for Lowest Containment Cost

Low-cost, heavy-duty EconoTanks offer versatile liquid storage for environmental, industrial, commercial and agricultural applications. Designed for short-term use – typically up to 18 months – the 4'-9" high EconoTank is available at per-gallon containment costs below those of other storage systems. Additional cost savings can be realized through ModuTank Inc.’s rental arrangement (see Rentals). As a result, EconoTanks are the economical alternative to standard tanks, lagoons, Frac tanks, ponds or pits.

Lowest in Overall Cost
Modular EconoTanks, designed for rapid bolt-together assembly by unskilled crews sharply reduce installation costs. Furthermore, hand-carried components engineered for ground level assembly with common hand tools eliminate cranes, scaffolding, welding and special equipment. Free-standing EconoTanks can be installed on any firm level surface with little or no site preparation. Expensive concrete footings are not necessary. Additionally, shipping charges are minimized through efficient, compact packaging of modular components on standard skids. For example, the steel for a 2,000,000 gallon Econotank can ship on a single flatbed.

General Specification
Wall panels are 16 gauge G90 galvanized steel. Support frames are 2" x 2" x 1/8" and 2" x 2" x 3/16" steel angle, hot dip galvanized after fabrication. Tension cables are steel. A 20 mil. polyethylene reinforced liner is standard. Other liners are available.

Rental Plan
See Rentals.

EconoTank Covers
Floating covers fabricated from the same flexible membrane material as liners are available as an option for creating totally enclosed systems. Covers, buoyed up by flotation logs, ride the fluid’s surface and create a practically vapor-tight enclosure.
